Biography
Eckhardt Kriel is an IT professional
with 26 years of experience in
providing IT consulting, security
and data mining solutions to public
and private sector organizations
around the world. He spent 26 years
with Ernst & Young in Johannesburg,
New York and Toronto.
Eckhardt has provided technical
computer forensic support to high
profile civil and criminal cases.
His data mining and analytical
expertise has assisted legal counsel
and the courts understand complex
financial transactions.
Eckhardt has authored numerous
articles and a book for the Canadian
Institute of Chartered Accountants
called, "Application of
Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques".
He has served on the International
Continuous Auditing and Reporting
Committee, (part of Rutgers
University Business School) and is a
long-standing member of the South
African Institute of Chartered
Accountants and the Association of
Certified Fraud Examiners.
